"How to order a "Hayden"…"

You can obtain a Hayden Order Form by any of the following ways:

and we will mail an order form out to you.

  · Personally pick a form up from our factory at Industrial Avenue, Kunda Park, Maroochydore

STEP 1 - Complete order Form

  · Complete the order form and please autograph it.  For a ski order, ensure that you have included your inside leg measurement.  In some circumstances you may be able to access a "Hayden jig" - a tool we use to gain factory based measurements for your ski design.

Measurement (for custom sizing)
Factory Jig:: This is a device to measure leg length fit for custom made surf skis. If you are able to visit our factory then we can quickly take this “Jig” measurement. If you currently paddle a Hayden ski that is a comfortable fit, then quote us the “rego” number and we can cross reference this for you. If none of the above makes sense, don’t panic, READ ON!

Inside Leg:: We custom make most of our skis based on paddlers supplying us with their “Inside Leg Measurement”. You can take this yourself by measuring the inside of your leg from the groin to the heel. You should be barefoot, with feet shoulder width apart. You may need help to get this accurate and it is preferable to use a steel builder’s style tape measure.

  · Return your completed order form to us by post, fax or email. 

STEP 2 - Deposit

  · So that your craft can be placed onto our production schedule, a deposit is also required.  You can mail a cheque to us or funds can be directly transferred into our bank account

  · We also accept Visa and Mastercard. 
  · If you are an international customer, you will need to approach your own bank to ensure the smooth transfer of funds into our account in Australian Dollars.
  · If ordering from overseas, please nominate (on the order form), your closest major international airport to allow for efficient delivery.
  · On receipt of your order form and deposit, we will check your requests and if necessary, we will get in contact with you.  If you desire signwriting or special artwork, we will call you once we are able to quote a final cost. 

STEP 3 - Waiting period

  · Waiting period - Please be patient - We are very proud of our workmanship and your craft will be made in the traditional handcrafted manner. For this reason, we quite often have a waiting list for our crafts.  However, you are very important to us and we will always endeavour to be as fast as possible in filling your order
  · About one week before the completion of your craft we will get in touch with you.  At this point we like to discuss the transport arrangements with you and organise for the final payment of your account.  If possible, please provide a fax number so that we are able to fax shipping documents to you directly, which will speed the process up. 
  · Once we have received your funds, we will ship your craft. 

STEP 4 - Packing and Transport Details

  · Your craft will be securely packed in the best quality materials. All craft are thoroughly checked for quality prior to being packed.  We organise the freight to the nominated depot or airport and only the best available freight and transport providers are used.  Once your craft arrives, you will be contacted. 
  · Please unwrap and check your craft before signing for its receipt.  Very occasionally, small transit damage does occur.  If this happens, inform the airport staff, who will complete the necessary documents for you. 
  · Please advise us in writing within 14 days if any minor transit damage has occurred.  We will contact you and make arrangements to resolve any problems.
